Application: Generation of an error signal.
Problem: I want to introduce a fixed phase shift between 0 and 2*pi in the sine waves of two sine tones with same frequency (10kHz..20kHz).
The sine tone generator only has one parameter: the frequency.
Please let me know how to generate two sine signals of the same frequency but with a fixed phase shift in the range 0..2*pi.

The currently available sine tone generator cells do not include an option to start them out of phase with one another. My suggestion is to manually calculate the phase shift in terms of samples and then use a simple delay cell to shift one signal relative to the other.

For example, at a 48 kHz sample rate, a 1 kHz sine tone has a period of 48 samples. So, a phase shift of 2*pi is 48 samples. That means a phase shift of 1*pi would be 24 samples, and a phase shift of 0.5*pi would be 12 samples.

I will discuss the option of adding a phase delay control with the software team. That could be a possibility for future versions.
