On page 47 of the ADAU1761 datasheet, under Parameter RAM it states that SigmaStudio reserves addresses 0x0000 through 0x0007 as safeload write locations, and that the "project-specific parameters start at address 0x0008". The section on Software Safeload on page 48, further details this. For our design a standalone microcontroller will actually load the Program and Parameter files created by SigmaStudio, and set the register bits individually. Since SigmaStudio is not booting the DSP, are these locations STILL Safeload Write Locations OR, do project-specific parameters now start at 0x0000? Thanks in advance!

The data that you write to the ADAU1761's program RAM should be the same, regardless of whether you write to it from SigmaStudio or from a microcontroller. You can directly use the files that SigmaStudio outputs for your microcontroller code. You should not have to modify the program RAM file in any way; the safeload code remains the same.
