What is the absolute delay through the ADAU1761 adc and dac?
ADAU1761 running at 48Ksample rate, what would be the measured delay from analog input --> sigmaDSP adc --> sigmaDSP dac to analog output? The information may be in the datasheet somewhere, but I couldn't find it.
EDIT: ... and assume the sigmaDSP does nothing but copy input (adc output) to output (dac input). If the sigmaDSP does automatic block processing by default rather than sample by processing, include the block delays too.

The group delays for the ADCs and DACs are listed in the Digital Filter section of the specs (page 10 of the datasheet). For fs=48 kHz, the ADC group delay is 479 us and the DAC group delay is 115 us.
So this is lower than the ADAU1701? "The actual group delay of the ADC filters is about 0.48 ms and the group delay of the DACs is about 0.4 ms." https://ez.analog.com/message/7713
I think JeradL picked up the wrong figure for DAC in the ADAU1761 datasheet--he quoted the correct 48kHz ADC, but cited the 96kHz DAC. 48kHz DAC group delay is listed as 521us.
Hi misterdsp,
Please find the Group Delay formulas on page 10 of the ADAU1761 datasheet:
ADC Group Delay = 22.9844/fs; for 48 kHz this works out to 479 us. The ADC Group Delay scales linearly across all fs.
DAC Group Delay has two formulas, one for the 48 kHz range and one for the 96 kHz range. The Group Delay scales linearly inside of each fs range.
48 kHz DAC Group Delay = 25/fs; for 48 kHz this works out to 521 us.
96 kHz DAC Group Delay = 11/fs; for 96 kHz this works out to 115 us.
Best regards,
Coleman
