I'm having trouble using a SigmaDSP as an I2S slave. In all the examples I see SigmaDSP as a master but in a multi-DSP system one will be a master which drives another SigmaDSP slave and a slave codec. Are there are examples of how to configure the wiring schematic and I2S channel clock options? Whenever I set a SigmaDSP to a slave clock from another master SigmaDSP it seems to never receive data so I'm confused.

All of the settings for serial port master/slave setup are included in the routing registers, not in the SigmaDSP signal flow. So, your signal flow should not be dependent on whether you're running the IC in master or slave mode. It would be helpful if you could include a copy of your register settings (ideally just upload your SigmaStudio project) so that we can easily look at how you have your master and slave devices set up.

In general, once you have your serial data signals connected to the IC and the clock ports set up in the correct mode, you should just have set the control register bit to set the serial port into master or slave mode. For the ADAU144x, this is described on pages 42-45 of the datasheet. Bits 13:10 of these registers set the port into master or slave mode.

I got it working. I'm not sure what I was thinking, I was trying to use the clock 0 instead of clock 9 for the output. Thanks!
