I got the eval board. I want to control this IC with MCU through I2c port. I used the Digital MIC as input.

Now, I sat the REG as follow:

R0=0x01;//Core Clock enabled

R1=0x20;//Digital MIC input

R15=0x01;//Serial port master mode

R19=0x14;//Digital MIC input enable, ADCs off

R39=0xA0;//LRCLK & BCLK pull-up

R66=0x02;//Digital clock generator 1 on

After these setting, BCLK generate a 3.08MHz wave, and the Digital MIC data output is OK(PDM).

I read the data of some registers by I2C. Those data followed my setting.

How can I get the value of Digital MIC through I2C?

I am sorry, my English is not well. But I am really need your help!

Please see this Circuit From the Lab which describes setting up an ADAU1761 to work with a digital microphone, such as the ADMP421. The digital microphone data is not typically read back over I2C. Rather, once the data has been input to the codec, it can be processed by the SigmaDSP and output either through the DACs or out the serial output ports.

In your SigmaStudio design, the digital microphone inputs channels will be on inputs 0 and 1 of your input block. From that point, they are used like any other signal in your design.

Thank you very much! it is said that i can get the output data of digital mic through serial port, i just need to set the register of ADAU1761 by i2c. And then, i can get the data through DAC-SDATA, LRCLK and BCLK in I2S mode. I want to check the sensitivity of digital mic with ADAU1761 directly.

When the registers are properly set up, the serial data is output from ADC_SDATA, the serial data output pin. The I2C serial port is for control only, not for data transfer.
