Hi,

Currently, I am trying to use ALC on ADAU1761.
Can ALC be used in case of single-end connection?
(LINN/RINN connect to single-end Microphone, and LINP/RINP connect to CM pin, like Figure 27. on Datasheet.)

And, when ALCSEL of R11 is set "DSP control", how does it do detailed setting to DSP core?
I don't understand what setting is needed to DSP core.

The ALC controls the gain in the PGA, so it can only be used with differential or pseudo-differential inputs. This is described in the first column on page 32 of the datasheet.

When ALCSEL is set to 100 (DSP Control), the PGA gain is set by the SigmaDSP core. This allows you the flexibility to drive the PGA gain with any algorithm you want to design in the DSP. This can be set up in your SigmaStudio project with the cell AIGC Output (IO/Gain Controls/Analog Input Gain Control/Output). The signal connected to this block will set the PGA gain.
