Pin state of ADAU1761 in case of Power OFF
Hi,
To reduce the power consumption, when IC is Power OFF, which state (Hi-Z, High, Low) should it make a pin in the circuit design?
Especially, I want to know the state of the input pin.
Please refer to the attachment file and describe the answer.
I will design the hardware circuit considering this information.
And, is it possible to show the Pad Block Diagram of each pin?
If Yes, it will be helpful for us.
Thanks, TomY

We recommend that the voltage on the digital pins does not exceed IOVDD. When the IC is powered down and IOVDD = 0V, we would recommend that you do not drive the input pins with any signals. Driving the inputs will turn on the ESD protection diodes and could damage the part over time.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
One more confirmation again.
From the point of view for reduction of power consumption most,
Which state (Pull-up or Pull-down or Hi-Z) should the input pin be made in case of Power OFF?
I think it will be decided by IC internal circuit, right?
Best Regards, TomY
If the power to the ADAU1761 is turned off, it will not be drawing much current at all. As I mentioned before, if you do not have power applied to the codec, then you should not be sending signals to it. So, the signals on input pins should be held low (ground).
