Need help with SigmaStudio design using ADAU1701 ADC Inputs
Hi All,
I cannot, for the lfe of me, find the element in the toolbox that represents the Analog Audio Inputs (i.e., ADC0 -pin 4 & ADC1 -pin 2) on the ADAU1701 in my design. The only ones I can find in the toolbox are the "Auxiliary" ADC Inputs. I know it is just me... , please HELP! Before I pull all my hair out.
Thanks,
Ray

The audio input block can be found in the IO section of the SigmaStudio library. For the ADAU1701, the top four pins are the ADC inputs, and the bottom 8 pins are the digital input channels. The evaluation board documentation (pdf link) has details on setting up a first SigmaStudio project to run on the ADAU1701. See the quickstart section starting on page 3 for more details.
Hi Jerad,
I am working with EVAL-ADAU1701MINIZ until our proto board is ready. I did read through the document before starting to work with SigmaStudio and I guess that I glazed over when I saw “Figure 6. Digital Audio Input 0 through Input 7…” I did not notice the green check marks starting at 2 and going through 9, just the fact that this input type was labeled “Digital”. Thanks for clearing this up.
Ray
