Can ADAU1761 support two stereos Analog Input?
Hi,
I have a question about ADAU1761.
ADAU1761 has the following signal for Analog Input.
LAUX Left Channel Single-Ended Auxiliary Input. Biased at AVDD/2.
RAUX Right Channel Single-Ended Auxiliary Input. Biased at AVDD/2.
LINP Left Channel Noninverting Input or Single-Ended Input 0. Biased at AVDD/2.
LINN Left Channel Inverting Input or Single-Ended Input 1. Biased at AVDD/2.
RINP Right Channel Noninverting Input or Single-Ended Input 2. Biased at AVDD/2.
RINN Right Channel Inverting Input or Single-Ended Input 3. Biased at AVDD/2.
Can ADAU1761 support two stereos Analog Input (Differential and Single-End) at the same time?
If yes, how to configure the input block by SigmaStudio?

There are only 2 ADC, you are able to convert only 2 analog input at the same time
Tom,
As was mentioned above, there are only two ADCs on the ADAU1761, so you can only send two discrete analog audio signals to the SigmaDSP core at once. The ADAU1761's record-path mixing allows you to mix the signals in the analog path before the ADCs, but with this configuration you could only mix the signals together; they would not appear as separate signals in the SigmaDSP.
If you need to process two stereo signals at once - one single-ended and one differential - then you will have to connect another codec to the ADAU1761's I2S inputs so that they could be processed simultaneously. The ADAU1361 is a stereo codec that is basically the same architecture as the ADAU1761, but without the SigmaDSP core. This would be an excellent choice to connect to the ADAU1761 to extend the number of analog inputs.
Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
It became helpful for me.
