Hello,

I noticed that sometime when I download the program into the ADAU1671 the code is not programmed correctly:

This behavior happen when I try to configure a configured board.

The only way I found to program the ADAU1761 in this situation is to switch off the board.

Anyone has a similar problem ?

Are you using SigmaStudio or your own microcontroller to load the program, parameters, and registers to the ADAU1761? If you are using your own hardware, you might want to be sure that when you write a new program you are completely overwriting the old one, so that there isn't any leftover code. To be safe, it would be a good idea to write to the complete program RAM, even if your program is not using all 1024 instructions.

I have the same problem with sigmastudio and eval board and with my hardware.

Do you suggest to me to perform a 0 fill of all the program memory before to program the device?

We have not seen this problem in SigmaStudio. It would be helpful if you could share with us the two SigmaStudio projects that you are using (the original and the overwriting program) so that we could try to recreate this here.

I don't have a particular project where the problem happens.

In sigmastudio the problem usually happen in this schenario:

I made a project. eg: sinewave source -> volume -> mute --> dac out

I program and run the codec

I made some variation like add a sinewave source and a mux

and recompiling and reprogramming the codec.

Sometime the output has a strange behavior and I need to reboot the board in order to solve the problem,

Whit my fw the situation is similar.

I start with a codec config. I made some change in the graph and I recompile and download the code

on my board (no poweroff).

I haven't seen this problem in the past, but on Monday I will try to duplicate it on my hardware.

If you happen to find a reliable way to reproduce this problem, please report it to us as soon as possible, and include a project file.

Thanks,

Brett
