Hello,

I made some test on the output attenuation of the LINEOUT pin.

In the datasheet REGISTER 31 there is a bit used to mute the output.

If I try to mute the output I measure an attenuation of about 16dB respect to the

maximum attenuation of -57dB.

The mute bit is not a rela mute (eg input pin connected to gnd), Is it correct?

The line out mute attenuation spec for the ADAU1761 is -87 dB (see page 6 of the datasheet). The mute does not attenuate the signal to the level of the DAC-to-lineout path's full performance, which is about 101 dB SNR with AVDD = 3.3V.
