Timer in adau 1467
Hi,
I want to utilize timer in adau1467.
Requirements:
If input=1, output=1 (without any delay or hold)
If input=0, output=0 (output stays at zero for 30ms no matter whatever input is).

Hello User4772,
Can I clarify this? Your conditions are contradictory.
If when input = 1 the output =1 with no delay or hold.
Then if input = 0 the output = 0 for 30ms no mater the input.
So this means that if the input goes to zero, the output will go to zero, then if the input turns into a "1" about 3ms later, the output will have to go to "1" is there is no delay or hold. So either the output must stay low for 30ms even if the input turns to a 1. Or it will delay going back to a 1 before the 30ms period has ended? This is the contradiction.
I recently put together a "one-shot" that will keep a signal either low or high for a preset minimum time.
One-shots have a retrigger able types where it will stay triggered past the minimum period of the input condition remains. Some only give one pulse and will not go again until the input toggles. Some will allow the output to end the pulse for one sample period then start a new pulse. Then some will just hold the value as long as the input condition remains steady. So in your case it would stay low as long as the input is low and has been low for more than 30ms. This is also known as a pulse stretcher.
I also want to mention that the "one-shot" blocks in the library are not true "one-shot" circuits. Those were written and designed by programmers who have never studied true multivibrators.
So if you could define this in a little more detail it would help.
Thanks,
Dave T
Thank You Dave!
If the input goes to one, the output will go to one, then if the input turns into a "0" , the output will have to go to "0" without delay or hold. Then the output must stay low for 30ms even if the input turns to a 1.
I hope now it is clear.
Hi!
I am waiting.
