PeakFullRangenogain wiki page is missing

Thread Summary

The user reported a broken F1 help link for the 'Peak Full Range (no gain)' algorithm block in SigmaStudio, which does not exist and cannot be viewed. The support engineer provided a link to a general dynamics processors page, but the user noted it lacks specific 'full range' block information. The support engineer then directed the user to a similar algorithm page for sigma3XX DSPs, indicating the parameters are the same for ADAU1701, and mentioned that the programming team is focusing on SigmaStudio+.

If you click F1 on any of the "Peak Full Range(no gain)" algorithm blocks, it goes to https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/sigmastudio/toolbox/dynamicsprocessors/peakfullrangenogain which does not exist and cannot be created. The page history exists but cannot be viewed as diffs. Please fix this.

Also, there is no Peak Full Range block with both external detect and gain output?

Hello J3627,

Please have a look at the below page and you will be able to find some info.

That doesn't contain anything about the "full range" blocks.

It also doesn't fix the broken wiki page that comes up when you press F1 on the block in SigmaStudio.

If I google site search, the only thing I see mentioning "full range" is https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/sigmastudio/toolbox/dynamicsprocessorsresourcetable but that doesn't mention ADAU1701...

Hello J3627,

You want info on the peak full range (no gain) right? The same algorithm exists in the sigma3XX DSPs too, when you drag and drop that block in sigma3xx and press F1, it goes to the existing wiki page. The parameters' info is just the same between two DSPs.

The graph is a little different between the DSPs since sigma3xx has a little higher dynamic range.

Below is the link that it goes to.

Peak (No Gain) [Analog Devices Wiki]

I have no idea when the broken wiki page will be fixed

OK. That wiki page doesn't say anything about full range, though. We need to search through the forum to find any information.

It seems like Analog Devices has abandoned these products and isn't maintaining the software or the wiki?

Hello J3627,

No, we have not abandoned it but the programming team has been focusing on the SigmaStudio+ in recent years. So updating the Wiki has fallen back in priorities. Feel free to contact me directly if you need closer support. If you send me a PM make sure to send a friend request as well or I will not be able to respond.

Thanks,

Dave T
