Thread Summary

The user inquired about the outputs of the voice chorus block and the functionality of the LFO radio buttons in SigmaStudio. The outputs are AudioLeft and AudioRight, and the LFO control issue was identified as a GUI problem, now fixed for the next beta release. The 'ch_loop_gain' parameter changes with the Feedback setting, and the 'Chorus19401ch_lfo_inc_1' parameter values for LFO settings are provided.

I am attempting to use the voice chorus block and have a couple of questions about it's use.

First, what are the two outputs? It seems that one could be LFO and one Feedback. How

would I use these in a design?

Also, I don't see the LFO radio buttons changing any values in the SigmaStudio capture

window. It writes 8 parameters, but these parameters are always the same no matter what

LFO radio button is pressed. Along this line, the only value I see changing is one parameter

called "ch_loop_gain" when I select the Feedback radio button.

The two outputs are actually AudioLeft and AudioRight. The cell takes a mono input (vocals) and produces a stereo chorused output.

I'm not sure about the LFO control. I confirmed that it doesn't seem to be updating any parameters. I will check with the software team.

I checked with the software team and it seems that this was a control GUI problem. The problem is now fixed and the update algorithm will be working properly in the next SigmaStudio beta release.

Just so you know, the parameter being modified is Chorus19401ch_lfo_inc_1 and the possible values are:

Setting
Parameter Value

Slow
0x00 0x00 0x00 0x3F

Medium
0x00 0x00 0x00 0x2F

Fast
0x00 0x00 0x00 0x1F
