I'm running SigmaStudio ver 3.1 build 20 rev 375.

I need to download a custom firmware to an ADAU1761 through Linux. I downloaded and compiled the Sigma fw utilities, but I can't seem to find a way of exporting the program.bin and parameters.bin files needed by the utils.

I tried to also find an xml file as mentioned somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything about it.

I was only able to obtain some .dat files to use through SigmaStudio, and some .bin files with the settings, but nothing more.

Thanks in advance

When you generate the system files in SigmaStudio, one of the files is called [project name].params. This file includes all of the parameter information, including both a hex and binary representation of the parameter values.

Every time you compile your project, a set of files is generated in folder IC1/net_list_outx. One of these files is program_data.dat, which is the binary representation of the program data. There is also a hex_program_data.dat, which is just the same data in hex format.

Thanks for your good answer.

The files I was mentioning are descibed here: http://blackfin.uclinux.org/gf/project/uclinux-dist/scmsvn/?action=browse&path=%2F&view=rev&revision=9735

It says there's a way of generating them from Sigma Studio, if I understood your answer correctly, I'd need to cut, paste and convert some files instead.

Yes, you can cut-and-paste this data from the files I mentioned and use them with your microcontroller.
