How would I implement a simple mute function in SigmaStudio, using a push-button on a GPIO? I don't want volume control, just a single button that cleanly mutes/unmutes the audio.

Thanks!

Freddie,

An example SigmaStudio project doing just this is included in the tool's installation. The file can be found at the following path:

C:\Program Files\Analog Devices Inc\SigmaStudio 3.1\Sample Schematics\ADAU170x\GPIO Examples

File name - Volume_DoublePushButton_170x.dspproj

The example is designed for the ADAU1701, but the same blocks are available for other SigmaDSPs with GPIO pins, such as the ADAU1761.

Application note AN-951 (PDF link) also describes this and other GPIO-controlled functions.
